In the service of humanity: SJAI volunteers celebrate their work on St John’s Day

Every year on 24th June, St John’s Day, members of St John Ambulance Ireland remember the work that they and their colleagues do around the world as part of the St John Ambulance movement.

Life-saving techniques taught

Throughout the year, all of our instructors and administrators give much time to share the knowledge of pre-hospital care and safety both internally to our members and to the general public on external courses. Teaching people life-saving techniques is a major part of our work. Our volunteers and staff do this with enthusiasm.

Countless hours of service across the country

Our volunteers give countless hours of service providing pre-hospital care at events all over the country. The skills learned and practiced within St John Ambulance Ireland are put to use in the service of humanity.

A worldwide family

St John Ambulance Ireland are delighted to be associated with St John International. We are part of the great St John Family all over the world. We all share the same aims and mottoes Pro Fide and Pro Utilitate Hominum: For the Faith and In the service of and humanity. On St John’s Day we celebrate being part of this wonderful family.
