Thank you to our volunteers who support public access AEDs

Public access AEDs (defibrillators) are important tools to assist everyone in the event of a cardiac emergency. Our volunteers in Swords supplied and continue to maintain a public access AED in Main Street, Swords since 2018.

It’s based outside the Fingal County Council building. If you call 999/112, you need an AED, and it is close by, the call taker will give you the code, which is also shown on the side of the box.

SJAI is very proud of all our volunteers that maintain AEDs as ongoing lifesaving equipment in their communities. We thank all that are members of local first responder groups sharing their vital CPR skills. Well done everyone.

If you would like to support them in this, would like to learn CPR, or would like to join St John Ambulance Ireland and make a difference in your community, please contact us.
