Public access AEDs (defibrillators) are important tools to assist everyone in the event of a cardiac emergency. Our volunteers in Swords supplied and continue to maintain a public access AED in Main Street, Swords since 2018.
It’s based outside the Fingal County Council building. If you call 999/112, you need an AED, and it is close by, the call taker will give you the code, which is also shown on the side of the box.

We are a very active division and our aim is to provide the best services in event medical cover and first aid courses.

Back on the road? Game on with St John Ambulance.
Even without spectators, events are going ahead across the country and St John Ambulance volunteers are out there providing pre-hospital care. While events may be different, the level of care remains the same.
